In response to incredible demand from a couple of you [ ;-) ]I've posted
some pix from Photokina and the LHSA Wetzlar meet.

Photokina first:
Even on the next to last day when we attended, the place was packed.

M9 Titanium - the internally illuminated frame lines glow red, like LEDs.
The finger grip worked surprisingly well, too, but I don't think it would be
comfortable to hold the camera that way for a whole afternoon, say.

Fuji X100 - Cool little camera. I've commented before on the dual
optical/EVF finder. Let's hope the image quality lives up to the advance
hype.

Panasonic Exhibit - it may have been even bigger than Canon's which was
itself gigantic. Panasonic was really pushing the Lumix brand, had 3D HD
video on exhibit, and more cameras than I could count. I did get a look at
the new 14mm pancake. It's thinner than the 20mm pancake and the few images
I was able to take with it look pretty good wide open.

LHSA

Waiting for the bus at the Wetzlarer Hof. This is a pano from five GF-1
shots with the 20mm lens. I left it fairly large so you can scan the crowd
for familiar faces if you wish.

I'll let you browse through the remaining shots. They were taken at Solms,
Hessepark and at the wine tasting with a mix of cameras and ISO settings, M9
w/50 Summilux; GF-1 w/20mm pancake; G-1 w/35mm Summicron. The EXIF data
should sort out which is which. Sorry I didn't get everyone's name. Do let
me know if I messed up on anyone, too. Thanks.

C&C always welcome.

Regards,

Dick
