He plotted the rise of the Labour Party in the 1990s and was Blair's 'Go To' man in times of crisis. He came to talk about his memoirs at the Cheltenham Literature Festival (which is now the UK's biggest Literature Festival). I got one minute with him at the end of his book signing!
