Subject: [Leica] Changing R lens mount

I've just received the adapters for my R lenses to mount them on my
alpha 900. Seem pretty well made of copper and anodized brass. I need
to remove the six machine screws which affix the old R lens mount in
order to mount the adapter. Anyone know the best screwdriver/tool to
use? Are the screws glued in? I recently mounted an AI kit to one of
my old Nikkors and Mr. Koh told me to heat the screws with a hair
dryer for a while to help loosen them because they were glued in, but
I was able to loosen them easily with a good Phillips machine
screwdriver kit I have. The Leica lens mounts are not mounted with
Phillips-head screws.
Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to strip the screws or
damage the mounts.
