I know your position on that, but if a piece of choice gear doesn't work for
me, out it goes.

When I started shooting my M8, I found two lenses that performed great on an
M7 were mush on the M8.  One was a CV 35 and the other was a Leica 90
tele-elmarit.

After DAG said the CV was not adjustable, I sold it to a film guy.  I still
have the 90, and use it on my film cameras.  I happily use a 75 in place of
the 90.

All that said, I'll point out that I have entirely too much gear, and I
should sell some to give me fodder to get some more (better).
