Philippe - from what I have seen, the large pieces are broken down by  
axe, and used for charcoal, which they use for BBQ, or for wood  
stoves, now that winter is approaching.  On that score, I am sitting  
in my office with 5 layers of clothes on, including my coat ......  
these concrete houses, with leaky windows and doors, are terrible to  
keep warm.
