Doug,

I use the Manfrotto 234 tilt head with the Wimberley C-10 clamp  
mounted on the top. It's a tilt only and is +/- 90 degrees. It's the  
standard setup I use on my monopod and is the best rig I've found so  
far. I only use Arca-Swiss mounting on all my tripods now.

Maybe you can find them used. The clamp is a little expensive.
