The first edition Digiluxes were surprisingly good cameras considering their
1.3 MB sensors. Kyle's portraits are lovely but he doesn't need to disparage
the capabilities of the machine. SM cards of 128MB, allowing at least 100
pictures on a card, were widely available when the camera was new. I never
experienced the long wait times he describes and I took several thousand
pictures with the Digilux. Perhaps the camera battery is weak. Despite the
red dot, the camera was made by Fuji and is Japanese in all particulars.
