Absolutely! I never considered who was using what in equipment but once in 
my very innocent youth beginning photography! :-)

"I LEARNED... "It's NOT  THE CAMERA!"  IT's THE GUY HOLDING THE CAMERA THAT 
MAKES THE DIFFERENCE! :-) After that......

 I never bought equipment considering what others had or used. If I felt I 
needed another camera, it was because I realized I could cover the 
assignment better! If I required a new lens it was because it would allow me 
to capture a moment I couldn't do otherwise!
And absolutely not what others had!!!!!

Hell if I had all the money in the world and walked into Leica Germany and 
could order whatever I wanted and as many as I thought I would need? It 
wouldn't make me the worlds greatest photographer!

But without question, it would prove I was the worlds greatest idiot with 
way to much money to spend! :-) And it's the guy or gal  shooting the job 
that matter, not what the hell a photographer owns! :-)
