I like the brighter one immensely.   Bokeh can be useful if you have
interesting shapes and related colors in the background.

Here your background contains elements that relate to the subject.
Astonishment, joy, excitement, ooooh!  You don't want to lose that!  You
have just enough a veil of oof separation for me.

I Love it.
