Nathan this comes up every year! Jim doesn't like 'numbers'  ;-)

Using the (10x8 landscape portfolio book) template that Jim selected, the
norm is one larger on LH page which can be up to a full bleed and one
smaller on the RH page with the captions underneath. Ideally you want to fit
your shots in the containers exactly or match your long edge.
For LH page, Full bleed is 2888 px x 2288 px  with a little space around ,
the container is 2680 px x 2250 px.

For the Right Hand page the (landscape) size that  I used was 2271 px x 1588
px
