Thanks Bob.? The prints look less grainy than the scans (Costco did a decent
job of printing and scanning).? I wanted to get as much shutter speed as I
could with the f4 lens.? So? I may still sell?my 35-70 in favor of something
faster so I can limit my film speed to 800 indoors.?
?
Robert

Hi Robert,
The images look surprisingly good to me. I like the grain and don't find it
distracting. The fact that you have done no post processing indicates that
the
scans have enough information to reduce the grain as well as add vibrancy,
if
you wish. As Ansel said, the negative is the score; the print is the
performance. You could put on a very nice performance with these.
Best,
Bob

Hi Everyone,

Out of curiosity I decided to try 1600 iso film, but i'm not sure I like the
grain and flatness.???They pics have minimal processing done after scanning
-
except for the last photo of the trees.? Any comments would be appreciated.
