Subject: [Leica] 503CW vs. 553ELX

I don't know why the models have different prices, but I can answer about
the prism finder.

The PM5 is a prism that you look into from a 45 degree angle, so you look
slightly down into it, unlike a 35mm SLR where you look straight into the
back of the camera. I have the older NC4 which is similar to the PM5. It
works great and lets you shoot at basically eye-level, which is good for
portraits since you are no longer looking up at the subject like you do with
a waist-level.
