Yes, she's become a bit of a fan for the saturation slider and a few other 
gimics. But I like her eye for composition.

The fire fall only occurs once a year during the last few days in February. 
The 
sky must be clear at sunset and there must be water in the fall.
You can't really see the falls during the day. It's just a trickle. But 
during 
those few days the sun is aligned to light up the mist of the fall and 
nothing 
else. It's a pretty amazing phenom. Gayle Rowland first photographed it I 
believe. I've tried twice now with no luck (either no water in the fall or 
overcast...). Nice excuse to keep going back :-) It's not like there's 
nothing 
else to photograph in Yosemite...

Several decades ago there were bonfires on top of Yosemite Falls every 
summer 
(made by the rangers) and then at the end of the fire the burning embers 
were 
thrown over the falls. The original fire fall!

Thanks for that link, Bob, but I look forward to seeing your interpretation
of the fire fall.  I looked through Elizabeth's site and most of her work is
way over the top for me!  I much prefer your's.
