It's almost as if the lens doesn't exist. That or perhaps it's good enough that folks just don't get rid of theirs. I know it's the same optical formula as the first E39 lens and both are stellar performers. I'd rather have the E46 since I already have a few 46mm filters and for use on the M8, I already have the UV/IR filter. (yes I know about the lack of 135mm frames in the M8) Getting the E39 would mean that I'm swapping filters back and forth or I get a new E39 UV/IR filter. I figure the cost of the filter + older style lens would be close to the cost of the E46 version. Are there any of these out there? Thanks all, Phil Forrest
