Subject: [Leica] OT anyone try these drives?

In the past couple of years I have had a few drive failures. They all 
had one thing in common, they were Seagate.  The one I bought this 
summer lasted about a month before it started squealing.

I began using these this summer and really like them:

and have been very happy with them.

I just built a portable eSATA drive using this drive:

and this enclosure:

To assemble took less than 5 minutes.

Nice thing about building your own drive is you know what drive is in 
the enclosure.
