Subject: [Leica] When did Kodachrome really die?

Getting your "chromes" back in two hours meant you could run tests before
you did a shoot. That was meaningful to me. Shooting Kodachrome meant I
might not be "tested out" as well as I'd like to be. But with E6 or E4 I had
results right in front of me as to how it was going to come out as I took
the real pictures. Often the lights were not moved in between time.
But I had no problem making my clients wait two days for Kodachrome.
Not once did they ever say no.
And I never showed anybody anything two hours later if it was E6.
As I had to spend time editing and sorting first anyway. It would always be
"next day".
