Hi Dear Ted,

I'm so happy you're back from Solms, Leica NJ, or Kerry Shnaut,

and clicking fast :-)

Your fatherly presence is a comfort and worthy example to us luggers in
doubt about photography, and sometimes maybe, about life.

Pity you weren't available to cover Egypt this time though :-)

Sinc?res amiti?s, to you and to Ir?ne.

Hi Guys and gals,
Well as of 9.30 this a.m. 12 February I'm cleared to return to action! :-)
Hold on now, I know that's disappointing to a couple and one in
particular.... "BUT SCREW THEM, I AM BACK!" :-)

To the rest of the crew I basically have been given a clean slate to return
and offer advice when asked, and encouragement always! :-) Sure nice to
stand tall, breath deep and begin walking the mile or two a day again!! :-)

Yep it seems after several brain scans from whatever angles and locations
took place during the past several weeks or so. They actually found some
semblance of brain fibers remaining that might function for a bit longer, at
least to my main goal of the round figure of surviving to a fine old fashion
100! I never feared I'd leave before then in any event, given the absolutely
incredibale about the world to this point of life now the 82nd year life, 27
May 2011!! :-)

Like what the hell is the point of going before then? When you've, not
worked, but lived the most incredible life with such great passion in what
you've done more than one can imagine as a photojournalist from one end of
the world from birth to death and back in many forms!!

Actually one of my friend doctor's admitted he doubted for a bit they'd ever
find any brain cells at all, let alone enough to show in a brain scan. He
did wink of course! :-) Damn it's great to have the veil lifted and the
world before me once again. Hey com'on I've gone through this dead, nearly
dead a few times and one should know each time you are told... "Hey yer
still good to go fer abit!" How wonderful it can be to pick-up a camera and
get at it again! :-)

So hang onto yer seats it could be one hell of a ride to the next one! :-)

Love all you folks,
cheers,
Dr. ted! :-)
