My Leica-R 250mm f/4 Telyt (Ver.II) arrived today, so I had to see if I
could handle it. Using a monopod, and forgetting that I had earlier set the
ISO to Auto on my E-1, I looked for a suitable subject from my hideaway
behind the storm door. Doves are hard to spot as they feed beneath our
sunflower seed feeders. They seem well equipped to blend in.

I think my tripod will work better, but was eager to be sure that I could
produce an image.
