Thanks Vick & Howard,

I just have some little niggle in the back of my memory that says  
maybe the one-year service warranty is good for only one repair.  But  
maybe that is about a Japanese store I use, not Leica.

Yes, I should e-mail Leica for a sure answer.

I bought an M9 from PopFlash and want to sell my M8 now.  It would be  
nice to say that it comes with a warranty that's good until Aug 2011.
