[Leica] R9 users, is there no exposure lock when using matrix metering, only on spot and average?

Exposure lock works in matrix mode on my Nikon F90x, F100, F4 and F5
cameras.  I just tried it.

Leica must think that this is the way you _should_ use matrix metering.
