Looking around for flowers, I found that the dogwoods were still the most 
eye-catching ones around.  This a Red Dogwood that is 10-12 years old.  It 
was a 
replacement when my White Pines had to be sacrificed to the power line 
overhead.

For those who feel that the color is not perfect, this is as close to the 
actual 
appearance as I could get.
