Subject: [Leica] JPEG, Standard or Progressive

Just tweaking my Epson scanner software and wondering if saving as  
progressive JPEGs saves space or time in Lightroom.

Does this setting really matter?  A Google search tells me it might  
only matter insofar as the image loads progressively when accessed  
online.
