Just wonderful to receive them from so many on screen and my good fortune to have met, real life friends. I thought you might be interested in a few details of the day. :-) Dang it was so good! :-) I received 221 Facebook messages. 85 private e-mail line postings. 2 bottles of extremely fine single malt Scotch! 32 real time delivered by the mailman BD cards. 12 telephone calls from far and wide across the world. And my good wife made a wonderful dinner rather than going out, so we could quietly enjoy, actually both our birthdays? Yep both our birthdays! Irene's was May 25th, her 82 birthday! And mine May 27th, my 82! :-) Not to often they hit that close to-gether. :-) Anyway we had a wee dram, a fine dinner with nice wine. And a birthday cake brought to us by our oldest son, Ted jnr. earlier in the day.:-) So all in all with so many wonderful BD wishes, a fine meal and lots of nice hugs it's been a wonderful birthday day! Thank you all so much for your never to be forgotten kindness! May the Great Spirit in his infinite wisdom see us through another year! Look out 83 here we come! :-) cheers, ted
