Good lad! Yes and I remember the phone call the day of the earthquake as you
were the first thought as the news flashed about the quake! "Phone Mark to
see if he's Ok!" Up until then we'd merely been members of the "LUG screen
Family" of friends. But then screen friends is a major part of the LUG that
makes it such a wonderful medium of meeting new people and making lasting
friendships with nary a face to face hand shake face to face.

As with some folks we become life long friends enhanced even more so when
real life provides the moment to stand face to face enjoying the hand shake
sealing the friendship for life. Mine are quite an endless crew! :-) With
many others I truly wish I had the income to meet each and every one face to
face! :-) Another in the "Bucket list!" ;-)

Yep I may sound a tad maudlin? However if members have not yet experienced
the above, they only have to do it once and it's an extremely interesting
moment to meet face to face real-time.... A true bonding of sorts.

So just let the useless diatribe kind of things slide by with nary a glance.
Some days when there are 25 postings about some gizmo to attach some other
gizmo to an R lens or to fit whatever body? Look at it his way.... "SELECT
ALL.... DELETE ALL!" Certainly if you have absolutely neither of the bits to
fit together. Or just don't care!

Reading them individually, deleting as you go along is truly an absolute
mindless waste of the short time we're on Planet Earth! In some cases you'd
be far better off reading the funnies in the local paper! ;-) Or just
playing with your Leica becoming more familiar with it in your hands.

Or far better, go out on the street? In the garden? Wherever? Looking for
beautiful visual moments having fun as we did in the beginning days so very
long ago when we were "Rookies First Class" completely in awe of this
wonderful life long magic of photography.

Have a great day everyone, love you all! :-)

cheers,
Dr. ted :-)
