I use Photomatix which seems (apparently) to do an excellent job with "Ghosting" (I use the "SemiAutomatic" button, but really never mess with it after it does the automatic part). I also only do exposure blending, not tone enhancing, which may make a difference. Other than that I don't know what to tell you; I'm not doing anything special... Every time I try it with lots of trees in the picture their leaves tend to stir a bit and create halos. How did you do it? Was there no wind?
