Hi Luggers,
I have been distracted from my humming bird stalking by the arrival of two 
sets of children with significant others and our only grandchild (so far).
And the hummers haven't been coming when the light is best but arriving 
later in the evening in the gloaming which makes lighting really problematic.
Still, here are two takes on hummingbirds in the twilight:

This is with the GH2, hand held, with the 100 - 300 panasonic at 300mm f7.1, 
1/4000, and ISO 5000.

The light was so nearly monochromatic that I transformed the picture into 
Black and White here:
