Subject: [Leica] Dead pixels when your camera flies?

This guy seems to have an axe to grind. It seems he is  trying to say 
film is better than digital.

His comment about gamma rays at high altitudes is simply wrong. While 
there are a bit more of them at higher altitudes it's not enough to 
affect sensors or semiconductors. Gamma rays affect film more than 
semiconductors. Xray a roll of film  and then your digital camera and 
see which one still works!
