Last time I was in Taos was a few winters ago. High temperature for the
week we were there was 17F.

This last winter new Mexico was under emergency conditions since
temperatures dipped past 20 degrees below zero F. Pretty much every
water pipe in town froze and the community was without any running
water for about a week. New Mexico weather doesn't play around!
