This is depressing. Everyone on this list and nearly any online list that 
relates to photography should already know the high points. No camera 
company will ever let this cat out of the bag, because they would be telling 
their customers, "Hey, folks, remember how much you like looking at old 
photos from when you were young or before you were born? Well, we just took 
$1000 of your money so you could make photos that will be gone in a couple 
of years." Although for most people, preservation means migrating photos to 
the new phone every two years.
