Except that the controls are in the wrong place.  :-)

You get used to that. But I really want the aperture ring to be on the 
end of the lens. The shutter speed I don't care about so much.

I'm not a purist, but I love the look of B&W film.  When I was scanning 
some of my old negatives this spring, I was reminded of how much I like 
that look. I also realized that I could get better results than I ever 
could with an enlarger.  If I were rich, I'd shoot B&W film and have my 
trusty assistant develop and scan it. Then I'd do my thing with curves 
and digital dodging and burning, and print them with carbon ink. I did 
that before I got my M8, except I was my own trusty assistant. I didn't 
have enough time, and I didn't pay myself enough.
