Ain't that the truth!
During 46 years of freelance self employment I can mark 4 distinct periods
of what I considered remarkable aesthetic and/or financial success (where
the work and a market for it were "in synch"); each lasting between 5 to 10
years. Two fine art periods, one photo journalism period, one commercial
photography and graphic design period.
Hopefully I've got one more in me.
