Okay - I thought I understood what you were doing but now I realize I don't 
have a clue, especially about the "shifted images" which, I'm thinking, is 
something done with the camera sensor itself?

If you could point me to an explanation of what's going on I'd sure 
appreciate it. This must be a medium-format-digital thing I have no 
experience with or referent for.
