Subject: [Leica] M9 sensor gunk was only fluid

I was worried after using a rubber bulb air blower to clean my sensor,
because some fluid spurted on the sensor. Was the mark left behind a
collection of dust scratches?

It turns out it wasn't scratching. I used a friend's wet swab and the
marks were removed. It was just fluid, water or maybe oil from the
mount, or somewhere.
I'm relieved the sensor is OK, and that I don't have to send the
camera to Leica.

Sonny recommended Eclipse cleaning fluid with Sensor Swabs. I looked
at their website, and they only sell within the US. I suppose sending
fluid abroad is not recommended
these days.

I hope I can find a similar product for sale in Japan. Any Nihon
dwellers seen anything like it? I'm thinking a wet cleaning method is
the way to go.
