DOes anyone know how much optical correction is done in camera by firmware
in the MFT system?

I assume the Panasonic body 'knows' that a 25mm Summilux is mounted and in
order to enhance the captured image will do some data manipulation, even in
RAW mode, before writing to the memory card. How would this affect overall
image quality if the lens is used on, say, an Olympus MFT body where the
camera may not 'know' that a Summilux is mounted?

Also are any MFT users using adapted four-thirds lenses on their MFT bodies?
If so please comment on AF speed and compatibility. Olympus made a very
tempting 50 macro for the original FT system that has no direct equivalent
in the MFT system.

Regards,
Akhil
