Quick and dirty translation

Old people, time sucks them from inside, crumpling them, creasing
them, rusting them, wearing them out, gnawing at them, tiring them -
ah tiredness, fatigue, how excruciating the end of the path is.

> in another paragraphe he says:
>
> "Elle a photographi? les sentiments... (sic) ....
> soi. ..."
>

She photographed sentiments (sic) The end* of an artist's art is to
make the invisible visible, or what is invisible to the distrait
onlooker, or to the inaptly self-centered.
  * read "where it stops", not "the aim"

> and at the end:
>
>

She gives La Rochefoucauld the lie: she looks at time that devours
everyting, straight in the eye, time that devours time.
