I was in Times Square all last week. Everybody had a cell-phone camera taking photos of the neon lights, the naked cowboy, and all of the characters roaming around. Canons outnumbered Nikons about 5 to 1. Cellphones outnumbered all other cameras combined about 10 to 1. I had the only Leica I saw. Some people held up their iPads to take photos in Times Square and on the Liberty cruises and on the Staten Island Ferry and on top of the Rockefeller Center. I took photos with my Leica of people taking photos with their cellphones and iPads. Photos to come later.
