So how do these images need finishing? Especially as I said they were just 
to get to grips with the camera rather than as art, it also lets others see 
what things look like. 

Have you ever edited an M9 shot to know what they need?

Or do you think I am shooting JPEG in camera?

Either way, I regard this message as quite insulting

That's not really going to happen is it? It should be so great if someone 
who actually gave a s*&^ had access to a Leica Monochrom camera or an M9.
A huge difference between throwing money from bottomless pockets  at ones 
supposed photography interest and actually DOING IT.
