Hi Ken,
Very nice healthy looking pampas grass. When we moved to Victoria there were 
several plants growing around our home. I thought, "WOW what a big grass 
weed, how the heck do you get rid of that?"

Never did anything with them but? "Take pictures!" :-) Similar to yours. 
Only suggestion I have is "keep doing what yer doing and you'll have 
interesting photos." Sometimes getting into a "macro scene" can make for 
interesting images with back-lit sun-light.
