I was hoping the difference was that the RNC delegates were working instead
of partying, but of course I know better.  Also I forgot to mention,
excellent photos.

Hey Ken,

I'm pretty sure both parties were well funded--the RNC folks were spending
their free time at private parties outside the downtown area. I know that
they had a fence built around a public park and held private parties there.
And I was not allowed in at least two big private parties in Ybor City. I
think the key difference was the RNC bused the delegates in and out of the
downtown area, and the DNC people stayed in the downtown area. So there were
just more people around the respective arenas.

And yes, I did photograph RNC at least one delegate without a snarl:), but
editorial decisions have to be made (I doubt you'd like to have seen all the
hundreds of shots I took) and the semi-snarl guy was indicative of the
general lack of enthusiasm at the RNC, and plus, that shot was better
composed than others that might have included a smile.
