Subject: [Leica] The Kinder Gentler Leica M-E

I'm going to guess that Leica is not going to take the 9 off the shelf and
replace it with a camera which is an under achiever. I think the smart guess
is that the E is going to have an edge on performance over the 9 and if its
not going to start with the sensor then where is it going to start?
We'll find out very very soon. Like by the end of the day when everyone
comes out of their shock.
Can the exceedingly low ISO ceiling of a CCD sensor be addressed?
I'm not sure how much R&D is being put into this technology any more.
I'm hoping there is enough of some.

The bottom line is Leica has exceeded any of our imaginations in how far its
going to go in the short run. It seems to be in exceeding good hands.
