If EVF-2 does not support focus peaking, EVF-3 in Q1 2013 probably will :-)

That is a very compelling video, showing off all the strength, without
mentioning weakness.

One thing that is "nudge, nudge, wink, wink" is that you can use LV and
focus peaking on Leica M lens, as Bob pointed out... meaning that when we
get to Leica M rel 2015 and EVF-5, there may not be a rangefinder on an M!
So much for Me?sucher!

With LV and a good EVF, you solve the problem with imprecise frameline, as
well front/back focus problem.

Of course it loses the outside-the-frame experience of a true Me?sucher,
but this is progress to most people.

The other thing is that it looks to me that Leica will finally provide a
tethering solution for studio use.

And they manage not to jack up the price any further.

The worst thing about the camera is the name. How are you going to google
"Leica M" without getting hit about the M series dated from M3?
