Naw guys it's all my fault because I haven't had a lens shade on my Nocitlux 
f1.0 for 30 years because a little pin fell out and Leica wanted $125.00 to 
fix it! "Not on yer life said I!" :-) And threw the shade away.

Then folks started to copy me! ;-) ;-)  True story about the pin and cost! 
And it still isn't going to happen! :-)
