Subject: [Leica] IMG: From the Sixties

When my sons were young, one of the things that they collected during our 
outings in the countryside were abandoned telephone insulators.  I recall a 
number of blue and clear glass specimens.  Today, as I walked through the 
garage, I spotted one on a high shelf.

In a quick Google search, I learned that this particular insulator was 
manufactured by the millions to support long-distance telephone lines, with 
its heavy lower shoulder designed to carry extra weight.
