Subject: [Leica] IMG: From Around the Yard

Squirrels are smart little critters.  The acorns grow on the tips of new 
branches, which will not support the weight of a squirrel.  He crawls out as 
far as possible, then bites off the tip of the branch, after which he goes 
to the ground and recovers his trophy.  In the case of this branch, he left 
one acorn behind.

There are not many flowers left in the yard in mid-October.  This honey bee 
crawled all over this honeysuckle cluster while I watched for openings to 
get a shot.
