Subject: [Leica] Marty, shutter lag in digital M

Terrific portraits.  

I have not heard that any SLRs except the old Canon RTS or whatever with the 
prism instead of a mirror were faster than Ms.  Which SLRs would these be?

I wish they were faster, but they still work pretty well, including
for portraits:

I prefer a rangefinder with long lag to an SLR with short lag.  The
best SLRs are now faster than all film Leicas apart from the M7, to
which they are about equivalent.
