I like your view and the photos, but I cannot help thinking that it is 
frivolous to cut down such magnificent trees just for the sake of view...

Hi Nathan,
I guess it depends where you are coming from. When I lived on the Canadian 
prairies where the hard climate made it difficult to grow trees
cutting a tree was a sacrilege. Here on the "Wet" Coast where I can see 
maybe 50,000 trees - cutting down half a dozen doesn't
seem to be so bad.
Glad you liked the photos too.
