Subject: [Leica] No more Zeiss Ikon

Whoops... M8 = 2006,,,,, Worse!

M8, Introduced in Sept 2006 at $4800.  In Sept 2012 is worth less than 
 $2K ( worse than 50% in 6 years)

 M9 Introduced in  Sept 2009 at $7000.  In Sept 2012 is worth $4K.  ( a 
 bit better than 50% in 3 years) 

M-E Introduced in Sept 2012 at $5400.
 Using the algorithm suggested above......
 Worth about 50% in 1 1/2 years???????

Which says the M Type 240 ( that was easier to use as a name then M10?) will
be introduced at, let's say $7K in 2013.  Using the same algorithim, the
camera, used, will be worth $3.5K in 9 months after introduction.....
