Thanks Richard, very interesting. I love Chinese painting. One of the 
highlights of my visit to Taiwan last year was to see the "Up the River 
During Qingming" painting/scroll at the National Palace Museum. I bought the 
entire (panoramic format) book devoted to the painting but it is nothing 
like seeing it.
