I had rotor cuff surgery on my right shoulder and it is perfect now, after 4 
years, had bone spurs removed from left and it is quite good now also.  Good 
luck Ted, you should be just fine after the surgery.  Just make sure you do 
the physical therapy afterward.

when rotator cuff surgery disabled my right shoulder, i became reasonably 
adept with aiming and shooting from the gut  level, camera suspended from 
strap, arm in sling

even found the skills useful for increasing speed in street shooting

you will turn out to be the tough old bird we know you to be!
