Milan is also a great city to visit.  If you want landscapes, try the 
Dolomites, some great mountain scenery to photograph.

This is a well-traveled group.  So, some advice please.  If you had 10
days in Northern Italy, which would be the "must see" places?  Venice
and Florence, I assume are at the top of the list, but after those
places, I'm not sure how to prioritize of what can be done within
those time limits.
